These individually configurable high-performance motors are specially designed for demanding industrial applications that require maximum performance, precise technical adaptation, and absolute operational reliability. Whether for special cooling concepts, extreme load conditions, or unusual installation situations – VEMoCustom motors are tailored precisely to your requirements.
Features
The VEMoCustom series is characterized by the highest level of technical customization. With outputs of up to 100 MW and a voltage range of up to 13.8 kV, they offer virtually unlimited possibilities. The motors are based on proven asynchronous or synchronous technology and are manufactured in welded steel housings – for maximum mechanical strength and durability. IP55 protection is available as standard; other protection classes are available upon request. Cooling methods such as IC6xx or IC8xW ensure reliable heat dissipation even under full load, while bearing and explosion protection functions are individually tailored to the application profile. Production is carried out on a custom basis, allowing even exceptional technical requirements to be precisely implemented.
Applications
Tailormade motors are used wherever standard industrial motors reach their limits. In large-scale power plant technology, turbine drives, or compressors for the oil and gas industry, they ensure reliable continuous operation under extreme operating conditions. In conveyor systems, heavy machinery, mining equipment, or steel processing, they impress with their high torque and long service life.
Our range of services
Tailormade
The Tailormade motors cover a power range of up to 80 MW and are designed for voltages from 400 V to 13.8 kV. With sizes ranging from 315 mm shaft height to 4300 mm stator diameter and cooling via IC6xx or IC8xW, they deliver powerful and stable performance – even at high ambient temperatures and intensive continuous loads. The speed is limited to up to 3600 rpm, making them particularly suitable for large drive machines in energy or industrial plant construction. Explosion-proof operation according to Ex definition is also possible. They are available in all designs, e.g., B3 with plain bearings – all "tailor-made", of course.
Tailormade XL
Tailormade XL is the answer to the greatest challenges in industrial drive technology. With an output of up to 100 MW and a freely selectable number of poles, speed, and frequency, this series is suitable for the most unusual application scenarios – from heavy-duty drives to large-scale high-voltage systems. Technical specifications such as cooling, design, bearings, degree of protection, and explosion protection are defined precisely according to customer requirements. Customization knows no bounds – every component, every detail is tailored to its intended use and location.
