AITech 2027, the leading annual trade show and conference for the iron and steel technology industry, will take place from May 3-5, 2027 in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. Professionals from around the world will gather there to present and discuss the latest technologies, process innovations, and industry trends in the steel sector.
What is AISTech?
AITech is the annual event of the Association for Iron & Steel Technology (AIST) and is considered the central platform for the North American steel industry with global reach. The event combines a large industrial trade show (“Iron & Steel Exposition”) with a scientific and technical conference (“Technology Conference”), thus offering both technological and market perspectives in the steel sector.
Who is at AISTech?
Participants include manufacturers and operators of steel plants, component suppliers, automation and process system providers, research and educational institutions, as well as students and young professionals. Decision-makers from the steel and metal industry, plant managers, engineers, and technology managers are also among the visitors and speakers.
Topics and Areas of Expertise
AITech 2026 focuses on modern processes for iron and steel production, rolling and processing technologies, energy and resource efficiency, digitalization and automation in steel production, sensor technology, process monitoring, and sustainability strategies for the industry. The focus is on both practical technologies and strategic future topics in steel production and processing.
