New managing director at VEM Dr. Joachim Koch joined the management team on 1st February 2018
The management of the VEM Group has gained another strong pillar with effect from 1st February 2018. Dr. Joachim Koch (42) has been appointed managing director of VEM GmbH alongside Jianyu Wang, Dr. Torsten Kuntze and Falk Lehmann. Dr. Koch will at the same time serve as managing director of VEM motors GmbH in Wernigerode. The focus of his work will lie in the low voltage division. At the same time, his remit includes commercial responsibilities for the VEM Group.
Dr. Koch on his goals at VEM:
“As a globally active enterprise, the VEM Group can point to a long and successful history of innovation in electric drive technology for high- and low-voltage applications. I am looking forward to further advancing the development of the VEM Group in the coming years and to further strengthening our excellent standing on the worldwide market for electric drives together with my colleagues.”
Before moving to the VEM Group, Dr. Koch was a partner at IMAP M&A Consultants AG.
