Nor-Shipping 2025 is a major international trade fair and conference focused on the shipping and maritime industries. It takes place every two years in Norway and is considered one of the most important events in the world for the shipping industry. The next event will be held in Oslo, Norway in 2025.
Goals of Nor-Shipping
Promoting Innovation: Nor-Shipping aims to showcase the latest technological developments and innovations in the shipping industry, particularly in the areas of sustainable technologies, digitalization and automation.
Sustainability and decarbonization: A central goal is to promote environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions. The trade fair is intended to help support the maritime industry on the way to lower CO2 emissions and more environmentally friendly shipping.
Future of Shipping: Nor-Shipping provides a platform for discussing the long-term future of shipping, including developing new business models, adapting to geopolitical changes and integrating new technologies.
Strengthening partnerships and collaboration: The event aims to promote networking and collaboration between companies, research institutions, governments and other stakeholders to develop common solutions to the challenges facing the industry.
Education and training: Nor-Shipping offers training and workshops for professionals to expand their skills in dealing with new technologies, market requirements and regulatory changes.
