Single-phase motors
Single-phase motors are two-strand asynchronous motors that are used in many applications due to their robust design and wide variety of modifications. They are manufactured in the same mechanical design as the IEC standard motor series in a gray cast iron housing and can be operated on a single-phase alternating voltage network.
Features
Single-phase motors are characterized by their compact design, robustness and versatility. The production in a gray cast iron housing ensures a long service life and high resilience. These motors are available in different thermal classes and offer options to adapt to specific requirements. Thanks to their two-strand asynchronous technology, they offer reliable performance and high efficiency. The easy integration into existing systems and the availability of many modifications make them particularly flexible.
Applications
Single-phase motors are used in numerous areas. They are commonly used in home appliances such as washing machines, refrigerators and air conditioners. In industry they are used in smaller machines, pumps and compressors that use single-phase electricity. They can also be found in various devices in agriculture and crafts, where their reliability and adaptability are valued. Their easy installation and maintenance also make them ideal for use in smaller businesses and workshops.
Our range of services
Type series EB21R / EB
- Single-phase asynchronous motors with operating capacitor
- The tightening torque of approx. 0.4 MN is sufficient for most applications (e.g. fan drives)
Type series EB21RW / EB2
- Single-phase asynchronous motors with operating capacitor and resistance rotor
- The relative starting torque MA/MN is increased to approximately twice the value compared to the EB21R / EB20R series (e.g. used as a concrete mixer drive)
Type series ED21R / ED
- Single-phase asynchronous motors with operating and starting capacitor
- This modification combines the advantages of motors with operating capacitors (high performance, efficiency and power factor) with the advantages of starting capacitor motors (high starting torque) and is therefore also suitable for drives with larger counter torques (e.g. pump starting against pressure, compressors, elevators ). The starting capacitor is switched off via switch-off electronics.
