Memory version
Memory version for low voltage
RFID technology has been successfully used by VEM motors for several years. Important drive system data is stored on an RFID tag that is permanently attached to it. This option, known as memory version, is used as standard for motors from size 400 (RFID system iID®2000, 13.56 MHz, based on ISO 15693). It is available as an option in the size range up to and including size 355. In addition to selected nameplate and engine data, additional technical information about attachments, selected spare parts, information on engine maintenance and, if necessary, customer or user data are stored in the memory chips of these transponders (TAG). There is also the option to actively maintain a maintenance history.
Transponder type
D14-TAGspecial RFID System iID®2000 (13.56 MHz based on ISO 15693)
Installation location
The transponder is attached to the housing with 2K construction adhesive before coloring. It is attached to the N side of the engine as shown in the document: “Information on use” on page 2.
Requirements
When using RFID technology for the memory version, the safety regulations applicable in the areas of use must be observed.
Special reading pens (PEN) with appropriate driver software are required for use. Suitable models are listed in the Usage Information document.
