Junction boxes for confined spaces
Flat connection technology is key in the new junction box developed by VEM motors Thurm.
Customers can now order motors with junction boxes in this special design from VEM motors Thurm. The junction box’s compact dimensions will accommodate cables up to M20 entry size.
It used to be the case that you would have to lift the whole junction box to connect the necessary cables to the motor in conventional flat junction boxes, which is rather difficult in a confined space. Our designers at the Zwickau VEM location have developed a new flat junction box with a series of decisive benefits. The junction box base is fixed onto the motor to prevent pinched cables, and it is easier to see what you are doing when connecting the motor up via the junction box.
The junction box is especially suitable for motors with cables requiring a small terminal block or WAGO connector.
